don't want to come across as some lame ass "good job" repitive bullshit type. as an artist, you work is inspirational, and as a person, its moving... the reaction value is off the charts... your watercolors are unbeleivable.. i hope you are lieing about those, ... how do you print so large? i'm jelous, i need to get a printer like that... anyway, i don't mean to drown you in flattery, just wanted to say i'm impressed..

first of all i guess i have nothing more to say than the others have already said, helnwein has been the most inspiring artists for me all my life. there is definetly a need to recognize helnwein's work while you are studying art and humanities, art and philosophy and so on. why there are no references in universities, i cannot seem to understand. maybe we need to start making smtg about it thou. i'm trying my best, still...ı would like to make a case study about helnwein for my phd subject. he has already inspired me a lot and i'm sure that my thesis and subject matter has found a new approach within his art and philosophy. anyways i guess i'd better not write too long.
i just wanted to say THANK YOU...
(i was wondering if there is any chance to meet with helnwein himself?)

Hi! Ehm tja, bin mehr oder weniger durch meinen Ex auf Ihre Kunst gekommen, war jedoch am Anfang nicht so angetan davon. Allerdings gingen mir viele Bilder nicht aus dem Kopf! Bin total beeindruckt! Übrigens suche dringend ein Buch über ihn mit Photographien u. anderen Bildern. Mit dem Aufdruck, wie von Westernhagen, kennt das jemand zufällig???

Danke! Leider ist dieses Buch momentan nicht mehr erhältlich, aber Du kannst es möglicherweise auf dem Secondhand-Markt bekommen, z.b. bei amazon.com/amazon.de. Wir arbeiten gerade an einer gallery/shop-website wo Bücher und Lithographien und andere limited edition prints erhältlich sein werden.

You are my favorite reference when people ask me what's the purpose of Art.(except having a nice object in your living-room of course...GRRRRR). It's a precious fact that some people have things to say...
Most of the people discover photography with R. Doisneau or Man Ray's pictures, I discovered it with your "Black mirror" and your "selfportraits" 8 years ago... and i must say your inspired most of my work since then... So I wanted to thank you for all these feelings you've waken-up in my body and in my spirit. I'm looking forward to see new works !
